I just discovered a series of Mixed Media “studies” I did on Doors and Windows in January ‘08.

Doors and windows have always been a special part of my personal mythology. Doors signify thresholds to me; windows invite me to consider my perspective about something.

When I made these, I was just beginning to explore mixed media. I wanted a focus that would keep me engaged while I experimented with different art supplies. I found a number of quotes on doors and windows on the net, and then created the pieces around the quotes that appealed to me.

When I found these the other day, I thought I would put them on the blog, in a series, because I still am Waiting to Discover the next evolution for my blog.
