I mentioned in my last blog post, My First Handmade Journal, that I was taking an online mixed-media visual journaling class for the month of December.

This is my first page, for December 1. I picked a collage image that resonated with me, did the painting, and then read the writing prompt, which had to do with what natural objects you have in your living space.

There happened to be an “r” and an “s” as part of the collage image, and immediately I knew what the page was telling me: “Rocks and Stones Center Me.”
