Bins, Not Books

I’ve been deeply immersed in a transformation for the last week or so.

I’ve morphed my office into a creative studio where I do business.

This is a huge shift for me, symbolically, creatively, energetically.

Art has fused with work and life. They’re all inseparable now. They are all venues for me to create and express in the world.

So the books came down from the book shelves, and in their place went bins with 8.5″ X 11″ copies of my art work on them:

Creative Studio

Each bin is a creative project. It contains ’stuff’ for me to create with, be it new materials for my individual clients, new coaching tools, new coaching groups, blogs, websites, and on and on. There’s endless potential to create.

This frees me from the traditional limitations of business forms, files, and records.

In our coaching relationship, my clients and I create. We create insights, intentions, strategies and goals. We create our relationship together.

My colleagues and I create relationships and collaborations.

I create with my friends.

I create in a dance with my inner self and with Spirit.

To create, I need space, color, light and energy.

Now, this space has it.

I’m changing my language to reflect the inner and outer shift: “It’s a Creative Studio, not an office.” Completely different intention. Completely different energy. Completely different space.

  1. I LOVE this!! Lately, I’ve been looking around my studio w/ a new set of eyes too. Realizing how much I’ve created a creative space and also what could use a little changing, re-arranging, or organization to make it completely the space I want. LOVE your idea for the bins w/ the artwork on them. That would work so great in my kid’s rooms too.

    Have a great weekend!

  2. YES!! Way to go Lynne, your outer space now reflects your inner space. This is so exciting!
