The Call to Growth
Yesterday, while I was walking the dogs, a very welcome sight jump-started my spirit and soul.
The two acre field down the road was filled with robins, on the grass, feeding.

My heart leapt at the sight.
The arrival of robins in the spring kicks off a season of incredible activity and growth.
Overnight, new life takes the baton from the dormancy that has been the norm for months, and flies away, in a flurry of song and nest-building and vibrant energy.
Birds, of course, don’t question whether they should build a nest or lay eggs. They just do it.
I’m letting the returning robins in my yard inspire me to spring into action on all the “just-do-it’s” in my life. I’m ready.
